Cargo & Compliance Seminar
On June 26, 2025, we held the Cargo Seminar at I’M Hotel in Makati City, marking the return of cargo conferences similar to previous events like HALIZATION and HUALIZATION. Themed “Learning Together Through Empowerment to Achieve Efficient Operations and Zero Major Incidents,” the seminar brought together deck officers and ratings directly involved in cargo operations to share insights and feedback on current cargo quality, claims, and acceptance procedures. The day concluded with a social night, joined by Engineering Officers who would participate in the following day’s session.
On June 27, we conducted the Compliance Seminar, led by our Chief Compliance Officer, Sigve Sand. The event featured engaging and collaborative workshop sessions focused on operational integrity, anti-corruption practices, compliance procedures, and best practices. In the afternoon, Chief Operating Officer Vivek Menon joined us for a focused discussion on the MACN help network and ongoing initiatives in high-risk countries.
